Effect of lateral prefracture zone near the interfacial crack tip on the faces contact (English)

In this paper, under plain strain conditions, the Wiener-Hopf method is used to calculate a small scale contact zone near the interfacial crack tip at the formation of a lateral prefracture zone in its vicinity. The crack faces are assumed to be in dry friction contact by the Coulomb law. The size of the contact zone is determined. An expression for contact stress is found and an equation for calculating the stress singularity index near the crack tip is derived.
