In this paper, an example of a finite three-layered in axial coordinate cylinder is considered to illustrate the construction of a mathematical model and the development of a method for determination and investigation of a steady-state temperature and stress distribution in the presence of heat removal by liquid boiling. In particular, a mathematical model of thermosensitive body is used. Also, it is assumed that the heat sources in the second layer of the cylinder are distributed by parabolic law, the heat flux is directed to one flat bounding surface, and the heat removal by liquid boiling occurs on the other surface. The stresses are determined. It is studied how the dependence of thermomechanical properties of the cylinder components on temperature and boiling intensity effects the character and distribution of the temperature and stress.
