Plane quasistatic thermoelasticity problem for half-space with coating under mixed heating conditions (English)

In this paper, a solution to the plane quasi-static thermoelasticity problem for a half-space with coating is constructed by means of the integral Laguerre and Fourier transforms. The coating surface is heated by a heat flux distributed symmetrically in the band of definite width, and cooled by Newton's law outside this band. Thermal stress state in the half-space and the coating is analyzed numerically depending on the cooling intensity and relative thickness of the coating. The results of analysis are presented.
