The main contribution of the present article consists in the introduction of new vector basis functions, which allow the authors to construct stable and consistent discrete and consistent discrete constitutive equations for the discrete geometric approach to some models arising in computational electromagnetics. This study includes the case of bianisotropic media. The main results consider both the magnetostatic and the full wave electromagnetics benchmark problem. Several numerical results support the main contributions.
