The notion of ideal convergence of double sequences in the sense of \textit{P. Kostyrko} et al. [Real Anal. Exch. 26(2000--2001), No. 2, 669--685 (2001; Zbl 1021.40001)] is introduced in the topology induced by a random 2-normed space and some of its properties are studied.
