This paper is concerned with the study of a steady 2-dimensional laminar flow of an incompressible fluid using the Lie group method and the shooting method coupled with R-K numerical scheme; the effects of certain parameters involved in the study, such as the visco-elastic parameter, the suction parameter etc are discussed.
