The authors study the Jacobi stability of the Rikitake system using KCC theory. They write the system as two second-order ordinary differential equations and obtain some sufficient conditions for the Jacobi stability of the system at each equilibrium point. They discuss the time evolution of the components of the second KCC invariant near the equilibrium points.
