The paper elaborates on a previous investigation of the last author et al. [Commun. Algebra 26, No. 5, 1429--1444 (1998; Zbl 0902.16007)] on rings NEWLINE\[NEWLINET=\begin{pmatrix} R & V \\ W & S\end{pmatrix}NEWLINE\]NEWLINE given by a Morita context, where criteria for \(T\) to be a maximal order, an Asano order, or a Dedekind order, are given. In the present paper, the authors focus upon the bimodules \(V\) and \(W\). In analogy to fractionals ideals, they consider integral and fractional bimodules, which leads to similar criteria for orders to be Asano or Dedekind.
