Locally implicit discontinuous Galerkin time domain method for electromagnetic wave propagation in dispersive media applied to numerical dosimetry in biological tissues (English)
0 references
The numerical simulation of electromagnetic wave propagation in dispersive media is discussed in view of biomedical applications. In particular, the attention is payed to frequency-dependent permittivity. The locally implicit solution strategy is used to overcome the restrictive stability condition of global time step of explicit schemes. The numerical results are obtained for three-dimensional problems.
