Compact grid-characteristic schemes of higher orders for 3D linear transport equation (English)
0 references
In numerical simulations of three-dimensional problems of mathematical physics, the volume finite elements are often used. Here, for a 3D linear transport equation simulation, volume finite elements in form of a parallelepiped are proposed. As a result, a more accurate numerical scheme is constructed, generalizing the application of compact net-characteristic schemes for 3D formulation of problems of mathematical physic. Some details of the proposed numerical scheme are discussed.
