The author proves a version of enriched Yoneda lemma which does not require the base monoidal category \(\mathcal{M}\) to be closed or symmetric monoidal. In the case \(\mathcal{M}\) has colimits and the monoidal structure in \(\mathcal{M}\) preserves colimits in each argument, the author proves that the Yoneda embedding is universal for the property of being cocomplete and left-tensored over \(\mathcal{M}\).
