An economic method for simulating steady-state conditions in gas transport systems (English)
0 references
A model of complex gas transport system of any arbitrary topology is proposed. The gas transport system is presented by lists of pipes and joints (like a non-oriented graph). At an initial moment of time, the pressure and the temperature of the gas are given in the joints and this state is considered as a first approximation of the iteration process constructed for the investigation of stationary gas flows in pipe lines. The software Volna (wave) is proposed and its efficiency is demonstrated by test calculations.
