Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a branch of fluid mechanics that uses numerical analysis and algorithms to solve and analyze problems that involve fluid flows. Finite volume and finite difference methods are standard tools in numerical investigations of gas dynamics in general. Here, the methodology of a multilevel parallel numerical model configuration and the size of domain of computational choices are discussed in detail.
