This paper demonstrates the smooth non-sliceness of certain topologically slice knots, working from a theorem of \textit{M. Furuta} [Math. Res. Lett. 8, No. 3, 279--291 (2001; Zbl 0984.57011)]. A 122-crossing example is exhibited as Figure 3.
