Flocking and pattern motion in a modified Cucker-Smale model (English)

In this paper a modified Cucker-Smale model is studied. The authors consider the target motion pattern driving forces. It is shown for the Cucker-Smale model with prescribed line-shaped motion pattern that there exists a flocking pattern with an asymptotic flocking velocity. This is the main result in the paper under consideration. Numerical simulations are presented for the model with prescribed ball-shaped motion pattern which illustrate the obtained theoretical results.
