This paper focuses on several inequalities of traces, eigenvalues and singular values of powers of matrices, matrix exponentials, and also of compound matrices, i.e., matrices of subdeterminants (of fixed order) of a given matrix, in particular, on so-called (weak) majorization and (weak) log-majorization of singular and eigenvalues. Since the singular and eigenvalues are closely related with unitarily invariant norms of matrices, the results have implications also for norms.
