This paper gives a formula for the Hosoya polynomial [\textit{H. Hosoya}, Discrete Appl. Math 19, No. 1--3, 239--257 (1988; Zbl 0633.05006 )] of the Jahangir graphs. These consist of a wheel with every second ``spoke'' deleted. The formula given is missing its linear term of \(2m+1\).
