The authors of this paper continue the study (see [J. Indian Acad. Math. 36, No. 2, 245--258 (2014; Zbl 1320.83024)]) of solutions of the \(f(R)\) theory of gravity. In the present paper, they consider the six dimensional Bianchi type-V space time and present several exact cosmological solutions. Differing from earlier work, a non-vanishing matter distribution in the form of perfect fluid is assumed, and the existence of a singular big bang solution is discussed.
