Similar ruled surfaces with variable transformations in Minkowski 3-space \(E^3_1\) (English)

In the Minkowski space \(E^3_1\) some special families of time-like and space-like ruled surfaces are called \textit{similar} if a technical condition is satisfied. Some properties of these families are obtained and it is proved that developable ruled surfaces form such a family if and only if their striction curves are similar. The cylindrical and conoid surfaces are discussed.
