In this paper the authors prove the uniqueness of a ropelength-minimizing conformation of the \(\theta\)-spun double helix and discuss its similarity with the pitch structures previously studied by Oslen and Bohr. Additionally the authors find the ropelength of the standard \(N\)-helix.
