Elementary wave interactions to the compressible Euler equations for Chaplygin gas in two dimensions (English)
0 references
The authors study two-dimensional isentropic Euler system for the Chaplygin gas, focusing on the Riemann problem. Several types of interactions of elementary waves including shock waves, simple waves, and delta waves are considered. Using these elementary wave interactions, global piecewise smooth solutions to several Riemann problems are constructed.
