The author describes the transformation of a certain series under the effect of \(z'=\frac{az+b}{cz+d}\), where \( \begin{pmatrix} a & b \\ c & d \end{pmatrix} \in \mathrm{GL}_2 \left(\mathbb{F}_q[T] \right) \), by defining Dedekind sums \(s\left(a,c \right)\) on function fields, and also provides a corresponding reciprocity formula.
