    The gradient recovery for finite volume element method on quadrilateral meshes (English)

    The authors consider the isoparametric bilinear finite volume element method (FVE) to solve a model of elliptic problems on quadrilateral meshes. A gradient recovery method for the FVE solution by using the patch interpolation technique is presented. This recovery method provides a better approximation to the gradient of the exact solution. Using some superclose estimates, a second-order recovered gradient is constructed.
