\textit{L. Beran} [Orthomodular lattices. Algebraic approach. Dordrecht - Boston - Lancaster: D. Reidel Publishing Company; Prague: Academia. (1985; Zbl 0558.06008)] studied numerous conditions equivalent to orthomodularity in ortholattices. The authors extend this collection by further equivalent conditions, formulated for so-called lattices with an antitone involutions. They also discuss the use of different implications in this context.
