Wave field dynamics of a stratified medium with variable depths (Q2836575)

The authors examine the problem of far fields of internal gravity waves, which propagate in a sea of finite depth and changing sea-bed relief. Density-field inhomogeneities are taken into account by a constant Brunt-Vaisala frequency distribution \(N = \text{const}\). Small oscillations of the stratified media are described by a linearized system of equations at the Boussinesq approximation.
