The authors propose to apply fuzzy set theory to adaptive filtering of previous and current frames of color video sequences taking into account interchannel correlation of images. Linguistic rules of fuzzy logic make it possible to introduce a priori knowledge, adaptation, and intuition for the proposed algorithm. Therefore, the pulsed noise is suppressed, thus restoring the contours and small details.
