Basic algebras and their applications an overview (English)
0 references
Basic algebras have been introduced as a non-commutative generalization of many event structures which appear in quantum or many-valued logics. Here the author summarizes resent advances in this direction. He gives conditions under which a basic algebra is an MV-algebra, an orthomodular lattice, or a lattice-ordered effect algebra. Then he studies varieties of basic algebras and congruence properties.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 1234.08003].
