Symmetric closure operators on orthoposets (English)

A symmetric closure operator on an orthoposet is a closure operator whose range is closed under orthocomplementation. On Boolean algebras this concept coincides with that of a quantifier. Symmetric closure operators and quantifiers on ortholattices and orthomodular lattices are considered. To maximal orthogonal subsets of orthoposets containing certain joins, symmetric closure operators are assigned.
