In previous papers, the author developed a method of investigation for non-stationary dynamic contact problems of the elasticity theory with impacts. Here, the method is applied for a problem considered by many authors (see, for example, [\textit{A. G. Gorshkov} and \textit{D. V. Tarlakovsky}, Dynamical contact problems with moving boundaries. Moscow (1995)]) and the comparison of the obtained results is given.
