Łojasiewicz ideals in Denjoy-Carleman classes (English)

Łojasiewicz ideals play an important role among ideals of algebras of differentiable functions. The author of the paper under review uses an approach to Łojasiewicz ideals in non-quasianalytic Denjoy-Carleman classes. He obtains among principal ideals a characterization of Łojasiewicz ideals in terms of properties of a generator \(\varphi\). It turns out that the Łojasiewicz inequality should be replaced with another condition that involves successive derivatives of \(1/\varphi\).
