In this paper, the authors develop a compartmental recruitment model of a society in which the ideology spreads as a result of contact of recruiting members with non-recruiting members. In this model, recruiting members carry an ideology and try to spread to the individuals they meet. The non-recruiting members are further divided into two groups: those who are susceptible to the recruitment and those who are non-susceptible. Furthermore, the connectivity of the society changes due to birth of new members and death of existing members. A mean field theory is developed to predict the dependence of the growth threshold of the recruiting class on parameters in question. The effect of dynamics on the recruitment level and network topology is studied through Monte-Carlo simulations. Two regimes in which different bifurcation diagrams concern whether individuals become susceptible less than once or multiple times in their lifetime are identified.
