Reduction of the resonant radiation absorption in expanding gas (English)
0 references
The paper studies the reduction of the resonant radiation absorption in an expanding gas. The self-similar expansion is governed by probability of resonant radiation leaving, and spectral characteristics depending on the velocity gradient as well as on optical thickness of the medium. The growth of the velocity gradient is accompanied by transparent of an optically dense medium.
