Exact method for solving nonstationary stochastic wave problems (English)

A method is proposed for statistic modeling of pulsed signals scattering by layered media with stochastic inhomogeneities. The computation scheme is stable and corresponds to an exact weak solution to the stochastic wave equation. This method is applied to acoustic studies in the ocean.
