Krasnoselskii-type fixed-point results (English)
0 references
The authors prove some new Krasnosel'skij-type fixed point theorems for the sum \(S+T\), where \(S\) and \(T\) (or \(I-T\)) are maps chosen, under suitable conditions, from the classes of compact, \(\varphi\)-contractive, \(\varphi\)-expansive, \(\alpha_{K}\)-condensing, 1-set-contractive or nonexpansive maps. Their results extend, generalize or improve the classical Krasnosel'skij fixed point theorem and some of its extensions and variants. Applications are given to nonlinear integral equations.
