Canonical extensions and direct sums of fuzzy ordered sets (English)
0 references
In this paper, fuzzy relations are used to create partially ordered sets and lattices. Extensions of partially ordered sets and lattices are examined. The extensions include what are called canonical extensions and direct sums. It is proved that every cover function for a finitary distributive lattice is also a cover function for some nonfinitary distributive lattice.
