Almost Abelian rings. (English)

A ring \(R\) is called left almost Abelian if \(ae=0\) implies \(aRe=0\) for any nilpotent element \(a\) of \(R\) and any idempotent element \(e\) of \(R\). In this paper the author obtains some characterizations and properties of such rings. In addition, some applications of left almost Abelian rings are obtained.
