Modeling of thin films surface growth (English)

A short review of current approaches and models of a process of thin film surface growth is given. The authors propose an original model in the form of a stochastic cellular automata which gives a possibility to investigate the influence of the bottom layer temperature, the velocity and the suppression time on parameters characterizing the surface morphology. The results of modeling and experimental data are compared.
