Plasmastatic models of Galateya magnetic traps (English)

Three kinds of cylindric Galateya magnetic traps analogs with plunged in plasma volume conductors with the current are used to investigate equilibrium plasma configurations in a magnetic field. Mathematical models of symmetric configurations based on boundary problems with a 2D semilinear elliptic-type Grad-Shafranov equation are formulated. Numerical results consist of plasma distributions, magnetic and electric field distibutions. A general property of the plasma configurations considered is an absence current in regions of the maximal pressure.
