Hierarchical convergence to the zero point of maximal monotone operators (English)

In this paper, an implicit double-net algorithm, that converges strongly in its first variable to a net consisting of zeroes of a maximal monotone operator, is considered. Further, it is shown that the net obtained converges strongly to the unique solution of a general monotone variational inequality. Applications to convex minimization problems and equilibrium problems are also provided.
