Coherent X-ray optics (English)

X-ray optics has regained attentions due to the advent of the third-generation synchrotron source, so some monographs on this specialized topic are necessary. ``Coherent X-ray optics'' is one of the few monographs that are well-suited to this very specialized topic. The author starts with quite fundamental theories on optics assuming the X-ray is a coherent wave field, and then some specific contents on the X-ray, e.g., interaction with matters, sources, detectors, and imaging, follow. The efforts of the author to make this monograph be self-contained can be well appreciated as chapters go on. Not only researchers but also students will enjoy this book and learn the specialized topic a lot from this book.
