Poisson-Lie sigma models on Drinfel'd double. (Q2846616)

This paper is concerned with the so-called Poisson sigma models and in particular Poisson-Lie sigma models where additional structure on the target space is imposed. The main aim of the paper is to find a mathematically stringent description of these models and to give a geometrical interpretation of the structure that appears. After an introduction, the basic mathematical structures are introduced and applied to Poisson sigma models in Section 2. With all the main ingredients in place, the machinery is applied to the Poisson-Lie case in Section 3 where an illustrative example is also given.
