The author gives a summary of results on subspaces of radial functions in Besov or Triebel-Lizorkin spaces. The first and second part is devoted to the atomic decomposition of these spaces and then an atomic decomposition of their radial subspaces is proved. The third part deals with traces of these subspaces.
