The authors study the existence of positive solutions for the singular boundary value problem NEWLINE\[NEWLINEu^{(n)}(t)+f(t,v(t))=0,~~ v^{(m)}(t)+g(t,u(t))=0,NEWLINE\]NEWLINE NEWLINE\[NEWLINEu(0)=u'(0)=\cdots=u^{(n-2)}(0)=0,~~u(T)=\sum_{i=1}^{p-2}a_iu(\xi_i),NEWLINE\]NEWLINE NEWLINE\[NEWLINEv(0)=v'(0)=\cdots=v^{(m-2)}(0)=0,~~v(T)=\sum_{i=1}^{q-2}b_iv(\eta_i),NEWLINE\]NEWLINE \(p,q\in\mathbb{N}\), \(p\geq 3\), \(q\geq3\). The proof of the main results is based on a fixed point theorem in cones.
