The \(hp\) discontinuous Galerkin method for delay differential equations with nonlinear vanishing delay (English)

The authors study the \(hp\) discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method for delay differential equations with nonlinear vanishing delay. They first introduce the \(hp\)-\(DG\) method for the delay differential equation with vanishing delays and then they describe the computational form of the method. The main results of the error analysis of the \(hp\)-\(DG\) solutions are stated for smooth solutions and nonsmooth solutions. Various numerical results are given to illustrate the theory discussed.
