Strong convergence of modified Ishikawa iterations for nonexpansive mappings in Banach space (Q2848857)

The authors have introduced a more general iteration scheme for a family of nonexpansive maps to prove strong convergence theorems in uniformly smooth Banach spaces. Their results improve those in the literature, especially those of \textit{S. Plubtieng} and \textit{R. Wangkeeree} [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser. A, Theory Methods 70, No. 9, A, 3110--3118 (2009; Zbl 1203.47072)] and of \textit{Q.-B. Zhang} [Math. Comput. Modelling 49, No. 5--6, 1173--1179 (2009; Zbl 1165.65356)].
