The authors deal with continuous maps of the interval. The authors study cycles of dynamical systems generated by composition of two continuous maps of an interval into itself. They demonstrate that the sets of types of cycles of such dynamical systems can be distinguished significantly, despite that sets of periods of cycles of the systems coincide.
