Multiple factor analysis with R (English)

This is very useful textbook for everybody who wants to learn about the methods intended for analysis of multiple tables stemming from quantitative and/or qualitative data. The book is focused especially on factor analysis, however, chapters on principal components analysis and correspondence analysis complement the main text. The significant part is devoted to examples. All included examples were calculated using the R-package FactoMineR, prepared by the author and his colleagues and students, which is freely available from CRAN and/or the author's web page. Thanks to this package the reader becomes autonomous when playing with his/her own data.NEWLINENEWLINE Mathematical the erroneousness of the book is medium and its use does not require very deep knowledge of mathematics. On the other hand, understanding basics of linear algebra and matrix decompositions is more than useful. I can imagine the book as a basis for teaching a one semester course of multivariate data, especially when complemented by some other classical monographs and/or textbooks. In any case, the contents of the book can be considered being up to date, provided the reader will look for the proofs elsewhere.
