Common fixed point theorem in quasi-uniformizable spaces (English)

A common fixed point result for mappings in sequentially complete Hausdorff quasi-uniformizable spaces in the sense of \textit{D. H. Tan} [Acta Math. Vietnam 5, No. 2, 88--99 (1980; Zbl 0498.54039)] is proved. As a consequence, a corollary on common fixed points of mappings in Menger spaces is obtained.
