What are the strategies used today by physicists and astrophysicists to identify the nature of dark matter? This is the content and the aim of the 170 pages book. Elegantly written, concise and with fine explanations, the ideal reading for the general reader, laypersons, interested in science. 48 black/white illustrations, often reduced to the essential, are helpful, but sorry to say, are often of minor picture quality. The author guides the reader to the outmost frontiers of recent cosmic and elementary particle research. He presents a good overview and the different steps how cosmology and particle physics are connected. How works our Cosmos? We find many good answers in this book, but also are not forgotten the many open questions if one looks to the stars.
