Let \(X\) be a complex nonsingular projective algebraic variety. The author gives the explicit presentations of Chow motives and Chow groups of the configuration spaces of distinct and non-distinct \(n\) points of \(X\) that are away from a smooth divisor \(D\) (these spaces are constructed in [\textit{B. Kim} and \textit{F. Sato}, Sel. Math., New Ser. 15, No. 3, 435--443 (2009; Zbl 1177.14029)]).
